Our first step was to measure and develop shop drawings, so that we could proceed with layout, cutting, fitting and welding. The entire project is made with 1/4″ thick T304 stainless steel plates, cut to match the shape of the plywood model.
A private homeowner who appreciates the unusual, designed and constructed a plywood mockup for a stainless steel sculpture that they envisioned as an enhancement to the overall beauty of the property. The plywood model was delivered to our shop; it was our job to duplicate the sample.
Using the model as our guide and utilizing years of steel worker shop experience and ingenuity, we successfully fabricated a polished stainless steel sculpture, matching size and shape of the original plywood model. A truly unique project completed by our talented employees, now stands gracefully in its appropriate setting.
