Conventional well covers were not available at local foundries, so we were contacted by a local engineering firm to fabricate aluminum frame and cover assemblies to replace the original cast iron covers.
A local water authority had to replace existing cast iron manhole frames and covers above three municipal water wells. The goal was to increase the height and raise access to prevent potential contamination of wells during high water events.
